Caring for the Oceans, A Founding Vow

A desire to create certified Organic skincare that is safe for marine wildlife is a cornerstone of Laboratoires de Biarritz. The exceptional ecosystems of the ocean are always a source of inspiration in the development of our skincare products.

To bring our Baby products to life, we imagined contents with soft colors and adorned with marine wildlife like seals, polar bears, whales, and penguins.

With these cute drawings of aquatic animals, we want to underline the importance of preserving oceanic resources and living creatures.

Water Family, Our Partner for Conservation 

To walk the walk of environmental protection, Laboratoires de Biarritz supports associations working to support marine biodiversity. Water Family has a mission of raising awareness and educating about the protection of our water resources, our health and our planet

Created by Bernard Crepel and Renaud Hermen in 2009, it notably makes educational programs and tools for schoolchildren, businesses and events. They do it with a positive approach and by promoting good habits! Their priority is the education of up-and-coming generations, the key to lasting change in our society. By changing our lifestyles, in turn we reduce our carbon and water footprint, raw materials at the root of all consumer products. Water Family brings together 150 athletes and scientific ambassadors, with 20000 young people and 1000 working professionals reached every year.

1% For The Planet, A Genuine Commitment

Finally, Laboratoires de Biarritz has joined the 1% For The Planet movement, with 1% of sales from our Baby Care products donated to the cause. We hope to promote our commitment to human health and the environment, strengthening our roots. The proceeds will be given to Water Family.

1% for the Planet is a nonprofit organization started in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard, founder and owner of Patagonia, with Craig Mathews, ex-owner of Blue Ribbon Files. It encourages businesses to give at least 1% of their sales to environmental causes and the restoration of natural spaces.
